We are seeking an Operations and Special Projects Manager to oversee key operational functions and lead strategic projects that enhance our organisation’s efficiency and impact. This is a unique opportunity for a proactive, solutions-oriented individual to play a crucial role in strengthening our internal operations while also driving forward innovative initiatives

Key requirements
- Experience in senior operations, project management, or a similar role within a non-profit, start-up, or scaling organisation.
- Project management qualification or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrable track record of leading project and/or organisational success and delivering impact.
- Knowledge of IT systems, office management, and operational best practices and ability to apply knowledge appropriately for different ventures and their needs.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with demonstrable experience and success in analysing business needs, developing, and implementing appropriate solutions and associated change management.
- Experience designing systems and processes, including scoping, selecting, and implementing tech and/or AI solutions.
- Organised and methodical approach, with excellent project management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and hit multiple deadlines.
- Ability to manage relationships across a range of stakeholders, with the experience and skills to align multiple stakeholders and agendas and drive project success.
- Skilled communicator, written and verbal, including the ability to structure and articulate complex information and new ideas for different audiences.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability, tools, and frameworks to apply logical, critical, and methodical processes to deconstruct information, identify problems and causes and present solutions and options; within Purposeful Ventures and our incubated ventures.
- Tenacious and proactive approach to improving and documenting processes, as well as creating and implementing new processes from scratch.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, start-up environment.
- Passionate about transforming the life chances of children through entrepreneurship and innovation.
